AI features for your app or business
Assistants that answer from your own information, document reading that turns PDFs and photos into data, and search that understands what people mean. Built with limits, with running costs you approve first, and with a person in the loop where it matters.
- Typical AI feature in a larger build, USD
- $1k to $2.5k
- As a project on its own, USD
- From $3k
- Estimated and approved before launch
- Monthly cost
What we build
- Customer assistants that answer from your own documents, products and policies
- Document reading: invoices, forms and contracts turned into data your system can use
- Search that finds things by meaning, not exact words
- Drafts and summaries for your staff to review and send
- Sorting enquiries, tickets and orders to the right place
Built to be safe to run
AI features fail in ways normal software does not: they can be confidently wrong, and they cost money every time they run. So every feature we build has usage limits, a monthly cost estimate you approve before launch, a log of what it said, and a person approving anything that touches money or customer data.
Before we start, we tell you which AI provider and model we propose and how your data is handled, and we choose provider settings that keep your data out of model training.
Adding AI to an app you already have
Most AI work is an addition to an existing product: a support assistant on your website, document reading in your admin area, smarter search in your app. We can add it to an app we did not build, after a look at the code.
What it costs
As part of a larger build, an AI feature usually adds $1,000 to $2,500 USD. Added to an existing app on its own, it is a project like any other, from our $3,000 USD minimum. The running cost, what you pay the AI provider each month, depends on how much it is used; we estimate it with you before launch and set limits so it cannot run away.
Every project runs the same way: a free scoping call, a written plan and fixed quote, two-week sprints, launch, then care. See how it goes.
Questions
AI features for your app or business: common questions.
How much does it cost to add AI to an app?
Built into a larger project, an AI feature usually adds $1,000 to $2,500 USD. Added to an existing app on its own, it starts at our $3,000 USD project minimum. On top of that is the monthly bill from the AI provider, which we estimate and cap with you before launch.
Which AI models do you use?
Whichever fits the job and the budget, from providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic and Google, or an open model hosted in your own account when data must stay there. We recommend one in the plan and explain the trade-offs in cost, speed and accuracy.
Is our data safe?
We agree in writing which provider is used and how your data is handled before we start, use settings that keep it out of model training, and send the AI only what a task needs. Anything touching money or customer data is approved by a person.
What if the AI gets something wrong?
It will, sometimes, so we design for it: answers grounded in your own information, limits on what the AI can do by itself, a person approving anything that matters, and logs so mistakes can be found and fixed.
